About my Art
The Process – Painting as a Life-Affirming Act
I began my studies in medicine at Jagiellonian University in Krakow, but when my family emigrated to Sweden, my path shifted. I graduated in Art History and Sociology at the University of Gothenburg, while pursuing drawing and painting at TBV and Valand. What began as an academic curiosity soon became a personal necessity – art as language, art as survival. Over the years, I have exhibited mainly in Gothenburg, including at Cosmopolitan Gallery, Societetshuset in Marstrand, and the Gothenburg Cultural Centre. In recent years, I have found my base in Ulricehamn, where my work continues to evolve.
Expression Beyond Words – Emotion in Material Form
My paintings are not stories to be read, but experiences to be felt. They hold subconscious fragments, memories, fears, and desires, transformed into structure and form. Within the dense material, I search for equilibrium between chaos and order, between destruction and creation. The beauty I seek lies in imperfection, in the trace of the hand, in the vulnerability of the surface.
Exhibitions and Presence in Swedish Art
My paintings are not stories to be read, but experiences to be felt. They hold subconscious fragments, memories, fears, and desires, transformed into structure and form. Expression Beyond Words – Emotion in Material Form
Throughout the years, I have had the privilege to exhibit widely in Gothenburg and along the Swedish west coast. Each exhibition, whether in a gallery or a cultural house, becomes an extension of the studio: a dialogue between the visible and the hidden, the personal and the universal.
